Decoration is amazing. Full of colors of Mexico. Just a taste of Mexico. Got the Tampiqueno steak w/shrimp. It comes with rice and beans and a jalapeno chile. Not bad at all. To Drink, I got the natural orchata flavor. It was really good.

I am giving this restaurant a five-star. There was a couple things wrong with the food overall good food horrible salsa Now I travel the country Mexican food is my favorite. please don't let my opinion determine if you try it or not. The server got the food exactly the way I wanted it served it to me and it was good I had the steak fajita. And I'll put the steak fajita above probably 80 to 90% of the Mexican restaurants I've been to. Their salsa at the dead bottom poor quality. The chips and salsa, The chips I got were just crumbs, you could taste the can from the salsa. I cannot stand canned salsa.. The first thing that comes to mind when I get canned salsa is poor quality food. I did order queso and even that I was disappointed in because it was too runny. I got really good service here. The food was really good. The owner probably needs me or another Mexican to show them how to make salsa. When restaurants start giving out canned salsa it makes me think of white person owns it. Most people actually like to go to Mexican restaurants because of the chips and dip. It's something a Mexican restaurant should take pride on. I cannot explain how horrible their saw size and I'm going to keep going on about how horrible it was they are dead last on their salsa. It would be better for you to go home and water down some dog food and use it for bean dip then try their salsa. But I still gave them five stars just for the food I had to come back just to continue on about how horrible the salsa was. Go to a gas station and get yourself a V8 original non-spicy. Add extra can to it. And now you got their salsa.

The food is always excellent, the service is great and it’s a very fun vibe. It does get loud in night but it’s a great place for adult date night without the kids. If you’re bringing the kids go before 9 pm but the family would definitely like it too in the earlier hours of the night

This restaurant is a real treat! Never in my life have I finished everything on my plate at a Mexican restaurant..Usually the rice is dry and non flavorful. This rice was succulent, flavorful, and had a nice aroma. The refried beans were from scratch as well. The beef chimichanga was presented masterfully. Notice the crust and delicacy. This place was priced very well for what you are receiving. Highly recommend!

I have traveled across the nation trying Mexican food especially Tex-Mex... Yesterday was my first time to El Tapatio's and it is hands down the BEST I have ever eaten!!! The Raspberry margarita in the pitcher was strong and very flavorful. I ordered the Special Dinner... Pablano pepper with ground beef covered in white queso, ground beef enchilada and tamale no chili with white queso instead on both, crunchy beef taco and guacamole salad. I HIGHLY recommend!!! I will be back the next time we're parked across the street at the Flying J!!! Also, our waiter was top notch amazing!!!
